(ATLANTA) May 19, 2008 – Cross Movement Records' Christian Rap artist FLAME is scheduled to shoot his music video for the rock and hip hop meshed JOYFUL NOISE single from his Billboard chart-topping album OUR WORLD REDEEMED on Friday, May 23 in Atlanta, GA. The music video will also feature Christian Rock artist John Reilly (of the Philly based band Reilly) and Reach Records' Christian Rap artist Lecrae.
Written by FLAME and labelmate Da TRUTH, JOYFUL NOISE, which was produced by St Louis based producer Chike, is the most highly celebrated track on the album that expresses the 95th Psalm which invites us to worship God. Infusing echoing snaps, sharp synthesizers, and a wrenching rock laced electric guitar, the unforgettable single gleams with an appearance by heavy hitting Gospel Rap artist Lecrae and tobyMac flavored John Reilly. The song can be heard on FLAME's album OUR WORLD REDEEMED and myspace.com/FLAME314
Veteran music director Tripp Crosby is calling all ages, races, dancers, and rock/hip hop music lovers to the video shoot to showcase a celebration of praise for the Lord. Doors open at 6:30p and the taping will begin at 7:00p on Friday, May 23 at North Point Community Church in Atlanta. For more information, contact video@flame314.com
OUR WORLD REDEEMED is the sequel and second installment in FLAME's OUR WORLD Series. The two-part album series captures the story of FLAME befriending a non-believer and pointing him to the cross of Christ, while examining the fallen condition of the world. OUR WORLD FALLEN, which released April 17, 2007, to rave reviews also topped Billboard's Top Gospel and Christian Hip Hop Chart. One of the youngest members of the Cross Movement Records artist roster, FLAME is a Dove Award nominee and 2008 Holy Hip Hop Award honoree currently studying Biblical Counseling at the Southern Baptist Theological Undergraduate Seminary, Boyce College in Louisville, KY.
